Culturally indoctrinated as the most artistic geniuses, Albert Baumann is a citizen of that evil, unscrupulous, hard, but also tender, romantic and above all accurate, dispersive, insatiable and infinite world that is the link between the artistic and imaginative epic naked reality.
His work is inspired by the first abstract painting, although his compositions are recognizable, or can measure different design elements that give his speech a personal philosophy of folk literature, with direct references to poets as Rafael Alberti, Paul Celan, Giuseppe Dessì, Alfonso Gatto, Giacomo Noventa, Sandro Penna and Salvatore Quasimodo.
His act of casting with a brush is also inspired by music composers particularly dear to him, such as Chopin and Mahler but also Max Bruch, Gershwin, Burt Bacharach and Ennio Morricone; and the voices of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin.
As with the materials used in his sculptures, Albert Baumann plays with color with so great spoHis art has found immediate feedback in the United States of America. There are many collectors in his California, Florida and New York.
In 2005, during the restoration of the site and museum town of Loro Piceno (Macerata), it’s been organized a Baumann’s solo exhibition in the Civic Tower.
He often agreed to participate through his paintings of theatrical productions special events.
